Frequently Asked Questions:
How is this different from booking individual sessions?
Individual sessions are one-off. The Photographer-in-Residence experience is an ongoing relationship. I know your brand, your family, your rhythm, and your goals, so every session builds on the last instead of starting from scratch.
What happens if I don’t use all my hours?
Unused hours can rollover at your contract renewal. If for some reason you decide the Photographer-in-Residence experience is no longer a fit for you, you’ll have three months after the end of your contract to use your remaining hours. After those three months, the remaining hours will expire.
Where do sessions take place?
Sessions happen wherever fits your life and brand — your home, your workspace, on location, or in-studio. Location + prop suggestions are part of your creative direction sessions.
How does scheduling work month to month?
When you first join the program, or at your contract renewal, we’ll put any important dates for the year on the calendar right away. There may be some dates we’re unavailable for, such as our own family’s birthdays, holidays, etc. At your content planning sessions (quarterly or monthly, depending on your package), we’ll add any new dates to the calendar. As events pop up, you can text Kate to check her availability – you get priority booking over other clients!
What if I need to reschedule?
At the Inner Circle level, there are no rescheduling fees! At the Muse and Presence levels, sessions can be rescheduled at no cost when notified three days ahead of time. Short-notice reschedules at the Muse and Presence levels incur a $97 rescheduling fee. There are no rescheduling fees for inclement weather that prevents us from attending the session, or for serious illness.

You’re welcoming us into your life, and we don’t take that lightly. Your investment is important to us, and we want to do our due diligence to make sure you’re going to get the most out of it.
